SETTING (programm) Alpine Becker Audio 10 built for North American Market
- Turn Ignition key to 'ON' - Turn Becker radio 'ON' - Press the 'TONE' button - Immediately press the top two buttons (AM/FM and WB) simultaneously. 'TEST' will display - Immediately press the 'SEEK' button. 'MODEL' will display - Press the 'SEEK' button four (4) more times until 'FMAMR' displays. - Press the 'TUNE' button until '200:10' appears. This means North American standards: 200Khz FM and 10Khz AM spacing. Alternately, 100:9 means 100Khz FM and 9Khz AM spacing is EEC spacing. - Press and hold the 'SC' button until 'FMAMR' reappears - Turn the radio off.
It has now been programmed to North American radio standards.
The 100:9 is European radio spacing BUT this change only seems to work on models built for North America with the included WB or Weather Band which is an AM modulated VHF frequency band.
If its not work, please try this link let it program for another bandwidth for example usa (America) or you can let your radio repair there, you must register at first on the top left off the side, to get in contact with them.
